Subscription terms

Updated on 13 October 2026

Translation provided for information only; only the French version is authoritative.

These terms set out the term, the notice period, what happens when you stop and who owns the domain name. Those are the four questions that matter. This presentation applies to new orders. For an existing order, the accepted contract continues to apply.

This is a faithful summary of the contract. The full text is given to you before any commitment, with the withdrawal form: it opens in your client area before you order, it comes with your order confirmation, and it is sent to you before any signature if we sign together. Nothing in it contradicts this page.

Your 14 days to change your mind

You have 14 days from signature, or from your online order, to withdraw, however we sign. No reason needed, no penalty, and no need to explain yourself. The form is attached to the contract, but an email is enough.

During the first seven days, we collect nothing: no deposit, no first month, no charge to your card. It is written in the contract.

If you want us to start straight away without waiting for the 14 days to end, you ask us in writing. In that case, if you then withdraw, you only pay for what we have already done, pro rata. Without that written request, withdrawing costs you nothing, even if the website is half written.

The subscription

  • Your website: €89 a month, with no tax added.
  • Each feature (bookings, orders, gift vouchers, events): €39 a month, with no tax added.
  • 5 extra pages: €29 a month, with no tax added.
  • An extra language: €15 a month, with no tax added.
  • Online shop with delivery, subscriptions, members’ area: quoted separately, with setup fees set out in writing beforehand.

No tax is added to these prices. Nolitana comes under the French VAT exemption scheme for small businesses (franchise en base de TVA): you pay exactly the amount shown. In return, if you are registered for VAT yourself, you have no tax to reclaim on this expense. If we ever became liable for VAT, we would tell you two months in advance and you could leave without compensation.

No setup fee, no deposit. The first payment is taken on the day the site goes live. Not at signature: you do not pay while we are working. Your card can be registered at signature, and nothing is taken before that day. Payment is by card or by direct debit, through Stripe.

No commitment, if you prefer. You can pay for the design of the website once, €590, on the day the site goes live and never at signature. The monthly price is the same, and the subscription can be cancelled from the first month, by email, with 30 days’ notice. This sum pays for work delivered: it is earned when the site goes live and is not refunded if you cancel afterwards. If you withdraw during those 14 days after asking us in writing to start straight away, the pro rata is calculated on this amount. These fees cover design and setup, without transferring ownership of the website or its design.

If you pay for the year in advance, on the day the site goes live, you pay 10 months for 12. This payment is also made on the day the site goes live, never at signature. If the contract ends before its term through a withdrawal or through a failure on our part, the months not provided are refunded to you pro rata, within 14 days.

The domain name

The domain name is not included in the subscription. Either you register it yourself, in your name, and we connect it to your site at no charge; or we register it for you, in your name, and bill you for its registration and renewal, at a price given beforehand.

The traffic included

The website includes 100 GB of data transferred a month, around 45,000 visits. Beyond that, €9 per 100 GB or part thereof, and we let you know as soon as you reach 80% of the included volume. We never take a site offline because of traffic.

To give an idea of scale: 100 GB corresponds to around 45,000 visits a month on a website where every photograph is viewed. A neighbourhood business gets a few hundred to a few thousand. This volume is therefore not a limit you are likely to reach; it is the bound that lets us quote you a firm price.

If your business gets a surge, we let you know and we invoice you for the excess. We do not take your website offline. Each website is served with its own memory and processor limits, so that a rush on one takes nothing from the others: we therefore never need to switch one off to protect the others.

Recommending Nolitana

Bring us a business: you earn a percentage of what it pays. If you are a Nolitana client, its first month is free. With a SIREN number, whether or not you are a client: during each business’s first 12 months, 5% of what it pays us if 1 business you brought paid that month, 10% for 2, 15% for 3, 20% from 4; then 5% for 24 months. Without a SIREN number: a reward of €89 per business, once it has paid 3 monthly instalments, 2 rewards a year at most. All of it is paid to you by bank transfer. One level only: what a business you brought brings in turn earns you nothing. You need to be signed up before the business writes to us.

You sign up in your client area, in a minute: your personal link is shown there, and also arrives by email. The whole rule is written on the Recommend page.

If you are already a client

This rule replaces the referral scheme reserved for clients. For you, it applies to businesses that sign from 1 December 2026, or from today if you sign up on the Recommend page: signing up means choosing it.

Until 30 November 2026, without that sign-up, the former rule still applies to a business you bring us: a month’s subscription free for you and for them, then every month a discount on your subscription, of 5% of what the businesses you referred pay with 1 referral, 10% with 2, 15% with 3, 20% from 4. It exceeds neither the price of your subscription nor €2,400 a year, and is never paid out in cash. What you have earned under that rule remains due, and the discount on a business already subscribed continues at the same rates for 36 months from its first payment.

Features

Bookings, orders, gift vouchers, events: each feature costs €39 a month, with no setup fee. It is switched on within the timescale written on your order, and nothing is charged for it before then. It can be dropped from one month to the next, with 30 days’ notice, without affecting the website’s commitment. Your customers pay in person or online, as you prefer: online, the money goes straight into your own payment account, never to Nolitana, which takes no commission. Only the payment provider’s fees apply, at its own rates. You remain the seller.

Your pages and your changes

The website has up to 6 pages. Your dishes, products, projects and articles do not count towards them: they are unlimited. Beyond that, €29 a month per batch of 5 pages, and €15 a month per language on top of French and English. They follow the website’s commitment; with no commitment, their design is priced beforehand.

In the panel, you change your prices, your opening hours, your text, your menu or your timetable yourself, and which photo goes where among those already online, whenever you like and free of charge. Once a year, you send us your new photos: we retouch them and put them online. Any other change is priced beforehand, and nothing is done without your agreement.

Term and cancellation

12 months, then month to month. Cancellation by email, 30 days before the renewal date. No recorded-delivery letter, no renewal for another year. An email is enough; there is no recorded-delivery letter to send and no form to request. If you have paid for the design, there is no initial period: cancellation takes effect 30 days after your email, from the first month. Between three months and one month before the end of the first 12 months, we remind you by email of the deadline for leaving at the renewal date.

No finance company between you and us. Payment goes to Nolitana, and the contract is not assigned to anyone. You cancel with us, and nowhere else.

The price does not change during the first 12 months. After that, a revision can only happen once a year, within the limit of the Syntec index, and is announced to you two months in advance, which leaves you time to leave if it does not suit you.

If a new subprocessor joins our list and you object to it without us finding a solution, you may terminate without compensation or notice, commitment included. This is the data processing annex, signed with the contract.

If you stop

You keep your domain and content: text, photos and documents. If we registered your domain, we transfer it to you at no charge. When the subscription ends, the website and its management panel stop. The website is not transferred or supplied for hosting elsewhere. You can have a new website built using your domain and content.

  • The domain name is yours, in your name from day one and not in ours. If we registered it for you, the transfer is free and is done within 15 days.
  • You receive your content: your text, plus the photos and documents you supplied, in their original format. Existing rights and licences continue to apply.
  • The website, design created by Nolitana, code and management tools are not transferred. No copy of the website, including an offline copy, is supplied. This also applies without a minimum term, after payment of design and setup fees.
  • Your business data is separate from the software. Bookings, orders and customer records processed on your behalf are returned in a commonly used, reusable format, or deleted according to your instructions, subject to legal retention obligations.

On the end date, the website goes offline and access to the management tools ends. Data processed on your behalf is returned or deleted according to your instructions. Remaining copies are deleted within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.

What we owe you

  • Going live within 15 working days of receiving your text and your photographs.
  • The website online and up to date, with a target availability of 99% a month, excluding outages at the host or the relay, content published by you, and maintenance announced 48 hours in advance between 2 and 6 in the morning. Backed up every night, with the backup checked every week.
  • The connection of your domain name to the site, and its certificate, renewed during the subscription.
  • Your Google listing created or taken over on the day the site goes live, and your Google review link.
  • Once a year, retouching and putting online a batch of new photos that you send us.
  • A reply within 48 hours, on working days, to any written request.
  • The repair of any fault on our side, at no extra charge.

The 15-day timescale runs from the moment we have your text and your photographs. That is the only thing that can push it back, and it depends on you.

What you owe us

  • The monthly payment, by card or by direct debit.
  • The accuracy of what is published under your name: prices, opening hours, allergen information, regulated prices.
  • The rights to what is published under your name, text and images included, and the consent of any recognisable people in those images.
  • The confidentiality of your login details for the panel.
  • The publication, on your website, of your own legal notice and privacy policy. We provide the template and we enter our identity as host in it; yours, we cannot make up.
  • Your number of employees and the order of magnitude of your turnover, declared at signature. They determine whether your website is subject to the legal accessibility requirements, which most businesses are exempt from, but not all.

What we guarantee, and how far

If we fail in our obligations and this causes you a loss, our liability is capped at the amount you have paid us over the previous 12 months. This cap does not apply in the event of gross negligence, fraud, personal injury, infringement of a third party’s rights or a failure concerning your personal data, and it never applies to the return of your domain, your text and your photographs.

We are not responsible for what you publish yourself, nor for the consequences of inaccurate information that you gave us or put online.

Bookings, appointments, memberships

Bookings, appointments, registrations, memberships: the tool you already use connects to your website at no extra cost, and you keep paying its provider. If you would rather your website did it itself, that is a feature, at €39 a month.

The subscription to that tool remains payable to its publisher, and we are responsible neither for how it works nor for its terms. The link or button can be changed from your panel.

What is not included

Online advertising, keyword buying, managing your social media, writing regular articles and development specific to a trade, which is quoted separately. We do not promise first place on Google, because nobody can promise it.

Content, and your data

What is published under your name may be neither illegal nor misleading about prices, opening hours or the composition of products. Anyone can report content to us from the Report content page, and if we have to restrict any, you are told the reason, the duration and how to challenge it: this is Article 12 of the general terms and conditions.

For the hosting of your website and its panel, we process data on your behalf, and the data processing annex attached to the contract sets the rules. For our own needs, our policy is on the Privacy and cookies page, and our providers on the Our subprocessors page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a disagreement, we first look for a direct solution; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction. These terms are intended for professionals, in the course of their business.

Before going to any court, either of us can refer the matter free of charge to the Médiateur des entreprises, the French public mediation service between businesses, online.

Specifically, the Paris Commercial Court (tribunal de commerce de Paris) has jurisdiction to the extent that Article 48 of the French Code of Civil Procedure permits, that is, when we have both contracted as traders (commerçants). If you are a craftsperson or in a liberal profession, this clause does not apply and the ordinary rules of jurisdiction apply.
